Two days ago I wrote a post called, “Shine, Child, Shine!” about being fully you, just as you were created to be and how important it is for each one of us to live authentically as ourselves.
I also acknowledged a tendency to allow fear to slip in and keep us from living fully as ourselves. Our minds fill with all kinds of “what ifs” and “buts” and such. We are all guilty of throwing unnecessary obstacles in our way. We convince ourselves that we are not good enough, that someone else is better, and we concoct a million reasons as to why we can’t or shouldn’t pursue our life’s biggest dreams. Most of the time, I think we hesitate because we are afraid that we won’t measure up, and that we will ultimately fail.
But, friend, let me tell you…
God will equip you with whatever you need in order to accomplish whatever He needs accomplished.
Not to downplay your part in the process, but it really isn’t so much about what you can and can’t do. It’s about your YES and willingness to put yourself in motion and see what God can do through you and with your cooperation.
