Quit believing the same old lies you keep telling yourself, or are allowing others to tell you. Stop with the lies, because they are just that, LIES.

Tell me this, who’s the father of lies? The evil one. The lies don’t come from a good place and we know that, yet we are still tempted to believe them. The truth is Satan isn’t even that creative. All these stinking lies we each keep believing, they’re all the same freaking ones! I’ve been there, and I know you have too, perhaps you’re stuck in that mess right now. Want to know the current lie I’ve been struggling with? Doubt.

It took a dear friend reminding me where those lies come from to rise up against it, to stop doubting myself, and that I can do what it is I am called to do.

Listen to God your Father. Stop believing the lies of the evil one.

I am not enough.

I’m too far gone, there’s no way I can be forgiven.

I’m alone, carrying the burden on my own.

I am unworthy.

I don’t deserve the mercy.

I’m rotten right down to my core.

I am forgotten.

I don’t matter.

I am not capable.

I am shameful.

I am all alone.

Ok, now that you have confronted the lie(s) you are facing, I want you to lay it down at the feet of Jesus. That’s right, mentally and spiritually go to a place where you see yourself physically laying your burdens down at the feet of Jesus. Lay it down and walk away. Don’t turn back to try and pick it up either. You have the power over these lies. You have the power through your Savior, Jesus Christ. No matter the lie, no matter your struggle, step out of the darkness, my friend. You were made for more!

Choose to light your spirit on fire and leave your burdens behind. You NEED to do that for yourself, and you know what? You need to do that for me too – not just me, but for the whole world. That’s right, this whole wide world needs your authentic self.

Choose to be another lost and FOUND and stop believing those same old lies.
