One of my favorite phrases to use when I’m coaching, training or motivating is, “Don’t tell me what you can’t do, tell me what you CAN do!”
This phrase is so powerful because it shapes your thoughts. It forces you to focus on the positive rather than the negative. In anything we train for or work towards, we are training our minds as much or more than our bodies. The mind is a powerful thing and we have the power to influence it immensely.
Feed your mind with positive thoughts and you will get positive results. Feed your mind with negativity and you will feel defeat.
